Of Good Friends, Good Food, Good Wine, Good Music and a conclusion.....

This weekend was my first free weekend in 8 weeks. It was such a drastic change from working 8 days a week to actually having some time for my friends and myself.

On Friday I organised the Thank You dinner, for 10 people.... Was awesome...
Even though I have been 'living in Internationalism' for 7 years now, since I joined AIESEC, I was still amazed by the fusion of cultures I had at my place last Fri.....

Everyone loved the evening..... drank around 8 bottles of very good wine.... Parmeggiano, Parma Ham, My mom's fish pies, my AMAZING Lasagne that Ashleigh helped me prepare. I then spent Saturday helping Ash move out to her fantastic new place and bought some appliances for my apartment. In the evening I went to Adriana's place for cheese fondue! There was Vlad and Amit too... Initially we planned on going out after the dinner.... but we were all so tired and decided to stay in..watching Alfy!

One conclusion and reflection from this amazing weekend...
Life is best when its simple, when you have sincere and trustworthy friends around, when you feel there is that family atmosphere around you, when you are happy just cause other people are smiling and having a great time.....
Sitting down on a couch, talking, cracking jokes, sharing excerpts of our own lives.....
This is what means to me in this World, more than ever before!

I dont know whats next for me, after this Belgian Experience.... but I know one thing.... I would like to always carry this 'homely' feeling with me, wherever I go......

Forget thinking about what you dont have, what you are missing.... and enjoy one night, one moment with friends... bring them over at your place.. make an effort in the food you offer, light up candles, a couple of bottles of wine... good music.......
Thats all you need in life.......
